CPC is one of the chief engines behind Runaway Entertainment, a theatrical development company which specialises in the acquisition of titles, the commissioning of new work and the development of productions for the stage.

Charlie Parsons is developing the company with Olivier-award winning producerTristan Baker to be at the forefront of developing new and groundbreaking work for the theatre industry through developing ideas, managing productions and by building its own theatres.

Its latest production is Girl From the North Country staged at The Noel Coward Theatre. In a groundbreaking production, this uses the music of Bob Dylan with a play by the acclaimed writer Conor Macpherson. Runaway drove the creative process.  It is also managing the UK tours for Footloose The Musical and Flashdance.

Its past hits include the award winning E. Nesbit’ classic The Railway Children,  the Olivier winning musical In the Heights, and the highly acclaimed West End and touring production of Guys and Dolls.

Runaway has built its own pop-up theatre, the Kings Cross Theatre, behind Kings Cross Station on the plot where Google plans to build its new HQ and plans to build two new London based pop-up theatres.
